Today has not been an easy day at all. My joints, in particular my neck, hurt badly and I am just in general very tired. Kids don't care about this though so life goes on in the Steven's household.
Charissa did make me smile today though. I had Josh and I's socks folded and in a pile on the floor waiting to be put away. As I was coming out of my bedroom I see Charissa running down the hallway with 2 pairs of socks in her hands. She hands them to me and goes back for more w/ the biggest smile on her face. We went back and forth until all the socks were picked up and put away. Charissa was giggling and smiling the whole time she was helping me. I could have done it much faster myself but to see her make an effort to "help" me was worth the extra time. She was so proud of herself and it made me smile as well.
Just thought I would share her accomplishment. Such is the life of a 19 month old baby girl.

that is great that she is already trying to 'help out'...even though we know we can do it faster without their help.
